What Is Inbound Marketing and Why Does Your Business Need It?

If you’re new to inbound marketing, we’re here to break it down for you. What makes it so powerful and unique is that it focuses entirely on the customer. Because of that, it’s a great business move. Most marketing techniques leave customers feeling overwhelmed and pressured, but inbound marketing is different. Not only is it centered around the customer, it also uses the internet to its advantage. Your business could really benefit from implementing an inbound strategy.

Most of us have, in our daily lives, come across a particularly persistent salesperson—someone who would not rest until they found their way into your wallet. In fact, it was as if you were a wallet, and not a human being. Yeesh. Horrible. As if that weren’t bad enough, this marketing style utilized all but antiquated technologies—telemarketing, cold-calling and door-to-door visits? Old-school. There has to be a marketing technique that is on the customer’s side, and that takes advantage of our new favorite technology, the internet.
